Meet The Doctors

Marielle Beauchamp, D.M.D.

Doctor Beauchamp

Dr. Beauchamp was born in Tallahassee, Florida and grew up in the small town of Cairo, Georgia. Before attending dental school, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mercer University, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She continued her education at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University (Medical College of Georgia), where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine and Certificate in Orthodontics. She is a member of the American Dental Association and American Association of Orthodontists in addition to being a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Beauchamp is married to her dental school sweetheart, Dr. Stuart Beauchamp, who is a periodontist practicing in Ormond Beach. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading, listening to podcasts, watching football and HGTV, as well as cuddling with her cockapoos, Thor and Scout.

E. Joseph LeCompte, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. LeCompte graduated with honors from the University of Florida in 1973. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1977. He obtained a Specialty Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and a Master’s degree in Oral Biology/Physiology from the Medical College of Georgia in 1980. Dr. LeCompte then taught on the faculty at the Medical College of Virginia full-time from 1980-1983 and completed board certification in pediatric dentistry that year.

Subsequently, he decided to pursue specialty training in orthodontics and completed that specialty program at the University of Florida in May of 1985. During his two years at the University of Florida, he was awarded the National Research Service Award Fellowship by the National Institute of Dental Research. Dr. LeCompte has published over 30 articles and abstracts in refereed journals.

In 1991, he completed the qualifications for Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. This achievement is the highest level of accomplishment in this specialty, and only about 20% of orthodontists attain such status.

Although Dr. LeCompte presently limits his practice to orthodontics only, his background in pediatric dentistry is a tremendous advantage in treating young, growing individuals who present with early developing skeletal problems. In addition, he takes pride in staying abreast of all the new and innovative procedures and products for children and adults.
